HOW IT WORKS
Complete Sterilization: Provides safe, sterilized water to your whole house. All bacteria, viruses, microorganisms and pathogens are sterilized and inactivated to eliminate threat to human health. UV systems can be used with any type water supply with or without additional treatment.
Ultraviolet Treatment System is a point of entry (POE) system treating all the water entering your home and installed at the main incoming water line. Ultraviolet disinfection systems channel water past submerged UV lamps that emit lethal doses of UV energy, destroying any pathogens and sterilizing the water. When bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms are exposed to germicidal UV light at a particular wavelength (253.7 nanometers) their reproductive capabilities are destroyed, which means that they are inactivated and no longer pose a threat to human health.
